Transport causes emissions – there is no way around that. What matters is how carefully it is planned. As a freight forwarder, our greatest leverage lies exactly there: in the choice of transport mode, in vehicle utilisation and in selecting partners who share our standards.

Efficiency instead of empty kilometres

Every shipment we dispatch is reviewed before booking:

• The shortest sensible route for every shipment
• Vehicle size matched to the volume – from van to full truck, instead of giving away capacity
• Consolidation of shipments wherever possible
• Well-utilised vehicles and avoided empty runs

This is the most effective and at the same time most economical contribution a freight forwarder can make – sustainability and cost advantage point in the same direction here.

Paperless processing

A large part of the footprint in day-to-day forwarding is created not on the road but in the office: freight documents, customs paperwork and invoices in multiple copies. We handle these documents consistently digitally:

• All freight documents, customs decisions, invoices and credit notes, including shipping details, as PDF, XML or CSV – to download, store or, where truly necessary, print
• Digital records managed via DATEV Unternehmen online
• A seamless, end-to-end workflow with simple, audit-proof archiving
• Less paper, fewer postal runs and significantly shorter turnaround times for queries about your shipments

Transparency instead of promises

We started in early 2026 and are building up our sustainability work step by step. Instead of announcing targets we cannot substantiate today, we keep it simple:

• Transport data is recorded in a structured way
• A largely paperless way of working
• Information on the emissions of your shipments on request

What we communicate here is meant to remain verifiable.
